Can I fund my equipment hire through the NDIS or a Support At Home Program?
Yes. Moveability Australia works closely with self-managed, plan-managed, and agency-managed NDIS participants, as well as Support At Home Program providers across South Australia. We can provide compliant tax invoices and quotes directly to your plan manager or provider to ensure a seamless approval and payment process.
When do I have to pay for my hire?
Payment for the initial hire block, alongside any delivery fees or required hygiene purchases, is settled upfront prior to or upon the delivery of the equipment.

> Delivery, Setup & Clinical Specifications
Do you deliver and set up my hire items?
Yes. For all delivered items, our team takes care of the transport, home installation, and a comprehensive demonstration to ensure you or your carer feel completely confident operating the equipment.
Can you deliver hire equipment directly to an Adelaide hospital for my discharge?
Yes, we can deliver smaller, portable mobility aids (such as walkers) directly to the hospital to support your discharge. For larger equipment (such as recliners), we frequently coordinate with hospital teams, occupational therapists, and social workers across major Adelaide hospitals to ensure those items are delivered and fully set up at your home before you arrive. Please complete our equipment hire enquiry form or contact our team to confirm which items can be delivered directly to the hospital.
Can I collect the item myself from the store?
Smaller items like manual wheelchairs and walkers can be collected from our Findon showroom. Large items must be delivered and installed by our specialist delivery team to guarantee correct setup.
Can my Occupational Therapist (OT) visit the showroom to assess the equipment for me?
Absolutely. We highly encourage occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and support coordinators to visit our Findon showroom to inspect, measure, or trial equipment on behalf of their clients. Building strong collaborative relationships with South Australian healthcare professionals ensures our clients receive the safest possible clinical outcomes.
How do I ensure the hire equipment will fit through my doorways or support my weight?
Safety and correct sizing are critical when selecting mobility solutions. The technical specifications, including overall width and maximum weight capacity, can be outlined for each product. If you or your carer are unsure about space constraints or weight limits, please contact our experienced team with your measurements, and we will help you select the most appropriate model.
What if I want a specific model of item for hire?
While our hire fleet consists of premium, reliable industry brands, specific models are subject to stock availability. If your healthcare professional or therapist requires a specific configuration, please let us know so we can check our current inventory.
